Acts 27:27-29

²⁷ And when the fourteenth night had come, as we were carried to and fro in the Adriatic (about midnight), the shipmen suspected that some country approached.

²⁸ And they sounded and found it to be twenty fathoms. And when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it to be fifteen fathoms.

²⁹ Then, fearing they would have fallen into some rough places, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day to come.
